The coming Chinese New Year is on Sunday, 10th February 2013. Most Chinese call it “the Spring Festival”, because it marks the end of the winter and the beginning of the spring in the Chinese Lunar calendar. It is the biggest Festival in China in 2013 and the celebration is the Chinese Year of the Snake.
